A importância da leitura para bebês

Este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso trata da importância da leitura para bebês. Tem como objetivos compreender a importância da leitura para bebês, bem como explicar a transformação histórica e cultural da infância, destacar a relevância de uma literatura voltada para a infância e caracterizar os livros adequados para bebês. O presente estudo surgiu com o intuito de compreender como os bebês processam a leitura, buscando também pistas para identificar a melhor forma de ler, a fim de que a leitura se torne significativa para os pequenos. Para atingir os objetivos propostos, buscouse reunir informações por meio da pesquisa bibliográfica, a partir de autores como Vygotsky (1996), Reyes (2010), Tussi e Rosing (2009), López (2016), entre outros. Pode-se concluir, então, a partir de Vygotsky, que o homem só se faz humano na interação com o mundo/cultura através da interação com o outro. A aprendizagem é uma experiência social, que ocorre pela intervenção de instrumentos e signos.

This Final Course Project addresses the importance of reading to babies. Its objectives are to understand the importance of reading to babies, as well as to explain the historical and cultural transformation of childhood, highlight the relevance of literature aimed at children, and characterize books suitable for babies. This study arose from the intention to understand how babies process reading, also seeking clues to identify the best way to read, so that reading becomes meaningful for young children. To achieve the proposed objectives, information was gathered through bibliographic research, based on authors such as Vygotsky (1996), Reyes (2010), Tussi and Rosing (2009), López (2016), among others. It can be concluded, then, from Vygotsky, that man only becomes human in interaction with the world/culture through interaction with others. Learning is a social experience that occurs through the intervention of instruments and signs. Therefore, it is understood that, through the interaction of the adult with the baby through reading, the process of humanization will be intensified. The book then emerges as an instrument that, making use of signs (language), contributes to the child's humanization process, transforming them into a social, cultural, and historical being.

Como os bebês, que ainda não falam nem andam, conseguem se beneficiar da leitura? A investigação mostra que a leitura para bebês é muito mais do que um passatempo: ela funciona como uma experiência social e cultural fundamental para o desenvolvimento humano. Por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica baseada em teóricos como Vygotsky, o trabalho revela que a leitura compartilhada atua como um instrumento e um signo na interação entre o bebê e o mundo, concluindo que é nessa troca com o outro que a criança pequena se constitui como sujeito.
