Resumo
O presente trabalho aborda a arte de contar histórias na Educação Infantil. Tem como objetivo analisar a diversidade de estratégias que podem ser utilizadas pelo professor numa prática de contação de histórias, buscando despertar nos alunos o prazer pela leitura, proporcionando a ludicidade, a curiosidade e o divertimento. Este estudo constitui-se como uma pesquisa qualitativa realizada por meio de revisão bibliográfica. O estudo permitiu visualizar que são inúmeras as ferramentas e as possibilidades de o professor renovar uma narração com a utilização de estratégias e recursos auxiliares.

Abstract
This work addresses the art of storytelling in early childhood education. It aims to analyze the diversity of strategies that can be used by the teacher in a storytelling practice, seeking to awaken in the students the pleasure of reading, providing playfulness, curiosity and fun. The study showed that there are numerous tools and possibilities for the teacher to renew a narration using auxiliary strategies and resources. Through the study, it is understood that the appreciation of storytelling brings benefits to the integral development of the child, in addition to encouraging him to know the world of reading. Stories are true sources of wisdom, showing ways in which children can critically position themselves, assessing their reality. It is concluded that the teacher has to commit himself to a transformative proposal for the education of the child, assuming a reflexive posture in relation to the applied didactics, in order to obtain an effective story telling, providing the incentive for reading and sharpening the child's imagination.
