Resumo

O presente estudo situa-se na área da educação infantil e tem como tema central a coordenação pedagógica. Esta pesquisa toma como objeto de investigação o(a) coordenador(a) pedagógico(a) na educação infantil, discutindo seus limites e possibilidades. Apresenta como objetivo geral analisar o papel do(a) coordenador(a) pedagógico(a) no processo de organização e intervenção político-pedagógica na prática educativa da educação infantil. É um estudo bibliográfico de tipo qualitativo. Pode-se constatar que a função do(a) coordenador(a) pedagógico(a) não está limitado(a) apenas a serviços de cunho administrativos ou burocráticos, mas que seu papel tem um caráter social, democrático e ético, que deve atender as necessidades de articulação objetivando a formação de sujeitos críticos e reflexivos.

Abstract
The present study is located in the area of early childhood education and has pedagogical coordination as its central theme. This research takes as its object the pedagogical coordinator in early childhood education, discussing its limits and possibilities. Its general objective is to analyze the role of the pedagogical coordinator in the process of organization and political-pedagogical intervention in the educational practice of early childhood education. It is a qualitative bibliographical study. It can be seen that the function of the pedagogical coordinator is not limited only to administrative or bureaucratic services, but that his/her role has a social, democratic, and ethical character that should meet the needs of articulation aiming at the formation of critical and reflective subjects. Among the main functions of pedagogical coordination, we can highlight the articulation and formulation of pedagogical proposals in early childhood education institutions as a collective process, with the participation of the board, teachers and the school community.
